Carol Vorderman has speculated on who she thinks is going to replace Phillip Schofield on This Morning after he quit the show and admitted to having an affair with a 'much younger colleague'.

The 61-year-old presenter sensationally quit This Morning last Saturday after 21 years of fronting the show, amid reports of an ongoing 'feud' with his co-host Holly Willoughby.

In his statement at the time, Phillip said: "I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story." Yesterday, he also admitted to having an 'on-off consensual relationship' with a male colleague on the breakfast programme, while he was still married to his ex-wife Stephanie.

In a statement made to MailOnline, Phillip said that he met the man in question "when he was a teenager," and wanted help getting into television.
