Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Cardi B has said she will free Joe Exotic after having a very strong reaction to Netflix’s Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

First things first, we’re relieved the Bodak Yellow rapper made it to the end – she previously said she lost the thread of the documentary because she started having sex.

The documentary series follows the story of big cat keeper Joseph Maldonado-Passage. He is currently serving a 22-year jail sentence for allegedly hiring someone to murder Carole Baskin, an animal activist, as well as animal abuse charges. ‘Bout to start a gofundme account for Joe,’ Cardi tweeted. ‘He shall be free.’ We can’t find said GoFundMe just yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
