Radio DJ Jordan North was rescued from the River Thames on Monday night (16th December) after trying to save a dog from drowning.
While going out for a run, Jordan was approached by a woman who told him her dog was drowning in the river. As he stepped in to try and help, a member of the public became concerned for the star after he began struggling in the water.
RNLI lifeboat crew were out on exercise at the time of the event, and managed to reach Jordan at the location near Hammersmith Bridge just three minutes later.
Recalling the incident on Capital Breakfast this morning, Jordan praised the RNLI: "A big thank you and a massive shout out to RNLI Chiswick who came and rescued me", before revealing that he was "getting a bit panicky."
