The Mexican was in special form as he showed his class to comfortably take a unanimous points win in a punishing fight for Smith.Liverpool ace Smith couldn't put a dent in the brilliant Alvarez, who is now a bona-fide four-weight world champion as he claimed the WBA and WBC 12st titles.Alvarez was just simply too good for the defending champion, who put in a brave showing to last the distance with one of the best boxers on the planet.But, despite having a huge height advantage of seven inches, he struggled to deter Alvarez throughout the clash in Sant Antonio, Texas.Alvarez's movement was outstanding as he was able to close the distance.
