Celtic stand-in captain Cameron Carter-Vickers will MISS their Champions League finale with Real Madrid. Ange Postecoglou 's team are in Spain to face off against the European champions on Wednesday night with their hopes of progression in the competition already at an end.
However the Celtic fans would have been hoping to round off the campaign with an impressive display at the Santiago Bernabeu.
They will have to do it without their key defender, though, as he has not flown out to Madrid for the showdown. Postecoglou confirmed that the US international had not made the trip for the final group stage game at his pre-match press conference.
He had been covering as captain for Callum McGregor, who is also out through injury.
