Celtic captain Callum McGregor has revealed he is aiming to take part in training with his team-mates Down Under as he steps up his return bid from injury.
The 29-year-old hasn't played since suffering a knee injury against RB Leipzig in October but initial fears over a potential season-ending injury were allayed after a scan.
And now McGregor is using the trip to Australia for the Sydney Super Cup to strengthen his comeback before the Scottish Premiership on December 17 against Aberdeen.
And McGregor can't wait to be out there with his team-mates again. Speaking to Celtic TV, he said: "Hopefully I will be joining bits of the sessions this week and just progressing the rehab.
