Canada defender Alistair Johnston admits Victor Wanyama has doubled up as Celtic's agent to talk him into a move to Parkhead.
Johnston will sign for Ange Postecoglou 's team after the World Cup after a deal with Montreal was hammered out over the weekend.
The Parkhead side will pay around £3million for his services with the deal set to be wrapped up after his Qatar campaign comes to an end against Morocco on Thursday.
Currently starring for MLS side Montreal, he's a teammate of former Celtic star Wanyama, and he admits the ex Tottenham and Southampton midfielder has been in his ear about it.
