Cambuslang Rangers co-boss Billy Campbell insists goal machine Scott Williamson is the finest striker the club has seen since Lang legend Thomas ‘Deco’ Kilmartin.
Frontman Williamson took his season’s tally to 31 goals in 17 appearances for Camby on Saturday with a hat-trick in their 8-0 annihilation of Carluke Rovers in West of Scotland League Conference B.The 20-year-old, from Fernhill, has passed the 30-goal mark at the halfway point in the season and Campbell has compared his prowess to that of Kilmartin, who bagged 102 goals in 169 starts over two spells at Somervell Park during the 2010s.He said: “The only player that’s had an impact like that is Thomas Kilmartin, who Alan Wardlaw and I brought in from the amateurs a good few years
