Caledonia Gladiators has unveiled its new multi-million-pound stadium ahead of their first league game in the club’s new home later this week.
The BBL Trophy winners have completed finishing touches on the top-of-the-range arena, based at PlaySport Scotland leisure complex in Stewartfield, East Kilbride.
The adaptive re-use of the existing facility only began groundworks in March with more than 112,000 man-hours spent transforming the space into a 1,600 seater stadium over the last six months.
Supporters arriving for the club’s first BBL game at the stadium this Thursday will get the chance to experience the club’s new fan zone, which has a variety of hospitality options, seated eating areas and big screen TVs.
