Truly one of 2023's breakout talents, Caity Baser's having quite the year. Fresh off the back of her first-ever Top 40 smash Pretty Boys, debut EP Thanks For Nothing, See You Never, a headline tour and collaborations with Sigala and Mae Muller and Joel Corry, Caity returns this week with Leave Me Alone.

A tale of a former love interest refusing to let go, Leave Me Alone sees Caity navigate the mixed messages that all too often ensue after an acrimonious split.

And, hey - if anyone can tell 'em where to stick it, it's Caity. In typically-quirky, no-filter style, the not-so-radio-friendly-edit of the track begins with a sharp-tongued but playful 'f**k off.' The tone's been set within the first two seconds. "Why you texting me if you say you're not interested?

Why you pulling up to my house to get in my bed?," Caity asks. "None of this is making sense, always had your back but now you're stabbing mine instead..." Obvious - if a little lazy - comparisons could be drawn to debut album era Lily Allen or 2007 Kate Nash here.
