Caitlyn Marie Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner; October 28, 1949) is an American television personality and retired Olympic gold medal–winning decathlete.
Jenner played college football for the Graceland Yellowjackets before incurring a knee injury that required surgery. Convinced by Olympic decathlete Jack Parker's coach, L. D. Weldon, to try the decathlon, Jenner won the men's decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, setting a third successive world record and gaining fame as "an all-American hero".
Given the unofficial title of "world's greatest athlete", Jenner established a career in television, film, writing, auto racing, business, and as a Playgirl cover model.
Caitlyn Jenner has opened up on why her two daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner still call her "dad" after her gender transition in 2015.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians legend, 71, joined her youngest child Kylie, 23, as she did her glam in a YouTube video.
The former Olympian got candid about her decision to transition aged 65, speaking to Kylie about the "best decision" she has ever made. "Did you ever think that this day would come?" Kylie asked her dad.
Caitlyn answered: "No, did you ever think? I never thought. "I was 65 years old… I had to raise everybody else and I had such a life, but finally it was my time to be me and live my life. "I didn't think I could do it and I did it and you guys have been my best friends.
