Caitlyn Marie Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner; October 28, 1949) is an American television personality and retired Olympic gold medal–winning decathlete.
Jenner played college football for the Graceland Yellowjackets before incurring a knee injury that required surgery. Convinced by Olympic decathlete Jack Parker's coach, L. D. Weldon, to try the decathlon, Jenner won the men's decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, setting a third successive world record and gaining fame as "an all-American hero".
Given the unofficial title of "world's greatest athlete", Jenner established a career in television, film, writing, auto racing, business, and as a Playgirl cover model.
Caitlyn Jenner proved that she is totally backing herself to be named Governor of California as she jetted home to the US.The Olympian turned reality star recently returned home from Australia, where she was due to be taking part on Big Brother VIP.While it isn’t clear why she is back in America so soon as filming for the series has only just kicked off, the 71-year-old wasted no time in getting back to normality.She was spotted running errands on the streets of Malibu, rocking a T-shirt which read: ‘Caitlyn for California’Her appearance may come as a shock as she was due to be Down Under for the current series of Big Brother VIP.The star had been a big draw for the show, alongside Married At First Sight Australia’s Jessika Power and Meghan.
