Bus travellers in Motherwell and Wishaw are being warned to plan ahead due to heavy roadworks in the area.The major roadworks planned on West Hamilton Street in Motherwell and Glasgow Road in Wishaw are expected to cause disruption to bus services using that route.Users of the 240, 241, 242, 254, 266, N240 and X11 First Bus services are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow for additional travel time to prepare for buses that may be caught in traffic due to the works in Motherwell and Wishaw.The roadworks began on Friday, January 17, and are expected to last for at least 16 weeks.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
