A bus driver 'turned blue' in shock after driving a double decker into a low-level bridge in Bolton. Fortunately, no passengers were aboard the Bee Network service which ended up wedged under the bridge.
The drama happened on Weston Street in Bolton on Tuesday morning. It is believed the bus was returning to a depot and witnesseds said there were no passengers on board.
The road had to be closed while a rescue crew removed the bus. Bee Network is investigating the crash alongside the bus operator.
Eye-witness Arfan Khan told the Manchester Evening News: "I head this noise and I looked up and the bus was under the bridge.
