Burger King UK has confirmed the return of a much-loved item just as the fan favourite gets discontinued from McDonald's. The burger giant will be bringing back their Halloumi Fries which is set to hit menus on April 23.

It comes as McDonald's axed their popular cheesy fries yesterday (April 16) which left foodies outraged. On X, Maccies fans demanded the fast food chain "keep the Halloumi Fries as a permanent item" while others said they would "quit" if the fries didn't stay.

Now their competitor Burger King has confirmed they will be bringing back their iconic Halloumi Fries after they disappeared from their menu late last year. The cheesy chips are crafted from strips of authentic 100% Cypriot halloumi sourced right from Cyprus. These savoury delights will be available in either five or eight-piece sides and will be served with Burger King's signature Sweet Chilli dip.
