Bugzy Malone '100%' sees himself as the next James Bond: 'I'd bring reality to the role'

Bugzy Malone may be known primarily for his music, but he is currently making waves in the film industry too. The 32-year-old played Ernie in The Gentlemen, and more recently he’s back again in another Guy Ritchie film – Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.

He stars alongside Hollywood legends Hugh Grant, Aubrey Plaza, and Jason Statham. The film’s premise is a team of spies are assembled, including Bugzy’s JJ Davies, and they have a mission to retrieve a device known as ‘The Handle’ from gangsters.

While at the Prince’s Trust Awards Metro. co. uk spoke to Bugzy, real name Aaron Daniels, and asked if there are any more films in the pipeline. ‘Not as of yet.

I’m in some early conversations,’ he teased. ‘I’m taking it easy. I’m enjoying the fact this film has just come out. A lot of people like it and have enjoyed it. ’After Daniel Craig stepped down from James Bond – there is one big acting job up for grabs.
