Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was attempting to set Marcus Rashford up for a long-range effort in what turned out to be a brilliant move for Casemiro's goal against Nottingham Forest.

United fought back from 2-0 down to beat Steve Cooper's side 3-2 at Old Trafford and secure their second home win of the season.

Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly landed early punches with two goals inside four minutes to silence the home crowd. Christian Eriksen pulled one back and as United continued to push forward Casemiro levelled the game on 52 minutes.

The Brazilian was on hand to net from close range after what looked like a training ground routine. Fernandes floated a free-kick out to Rashford on the edge of the Forest box, with the Reds forward taking a touch and floating a perfect pass back over.
