A brother and sister carried their bedbound mum to the toilet for five months after her carers were sent away during the first lockdown.
Hannah Mcwann's husband, Mostahfiz Gani, who is her main carer, says brain injury survivors have become the 'hidden victims' of the coronavirus pandemic.
Hannah, 42, lost her ability to walk and talk after being hit by a bus near her home in Kingston upon Thames in December 2017.
She was walking to the shops to buy some chips for her husband when the bus smashed into her on a zebra crossing. The mum almost died in the crash and has spent the last three years trying to regain her movement and speech.
