Brooke Vincent has been jokingly told 'it's illegal' after leaving her fans and followers sad over her latest exit. It's been several years since the actress left the cobbles of Coronation Street but now her stint on the airwaves has come to an end.

Brooke, who is famed for having played Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, stepped in last year for Gemma Atkinson on the Hits Radio drivetime show with Mike Toolan while she headed on maternity leave to welcome her second child.

But on Friday(March 15), Brooke's time on the show came to an end with Gemma's return set to take place in April. During a chat at the end of her last show Gemma had a catch-up with Mike and Brooke in which she praised her fellow former soap star for her time on the show. "I've had people literally come up to me and say, 'Oh my god, how good is she?' And I'm like 'alright, nice, thank you!' Honestly, you should be so proud!" And Brooke admitted it was emotional to be saying goodbye after several months on the radio as before the last show, she wrote on her Instagram Story: "Today is my last day at hits!!

Brb crying!" She was then sweetly spoiled by her co-stars with a heart-shaped cookie reading: "Bye bye Brooke! You were ace," and a book featuring pictures from her time on the show.
