The former Coronation Street star took to Instagram on Friday (November 17) after she had headed off for an important health check.
She shared a snap of her legs which were up in the air while her feet were covered by a pair of black socks and some leopard print canvas trainers. "Almost 1 in 3 people aged 25-49 in the North West don’t attend their cervical screening even though our cervical cancer rates are 19% higher than the rest of England," she started her caption alongside a frowning face and broken heart emojis.
She went on: "Screening is one of the best ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer," before pleading: "So please please please DO NOT FEAR YOUR SMEAR!!!!!! #DontFearYourSmear @northwestcancerresearch."
