Brits have been warned that anyone travelling from Denmark with coronavirus will be put in "strict isolation" and transferred to "specialised infectious diseases centre".

The move seems to recall the early days of Covid-19, when people coming back from high-risk countries were put in isolation to prevent the spread of the virus.

It comes after the UK Government decided to ban foreign visitors from Denmark due to widespread outbreaks of Covid-19 in the country's mink farms.

All non-British national or resident travellers who have been in or transited through Denmark in the last 14 days will be denied entry into the UK.
