British tennis ace pooed on by bird during live television interview ahead of Wimbledon

Amazon Prime.Whilst speaking to interviewer Annabel Croft, Draper, 20, was lauding his progress in the famous Wimbledon warm-up event, saying: "Playing these guys, and beating these guys, is really important for me, and significant.“But, at the same time, I know it is on a grasscourt as well, this season is short and there is not a lot of players who earn a living on the grasscourt..." At that point, the London-based youngster pulled away from the interview, appearing to check his arm and hand.After an awkward pause in the interview, a smiling Draper then revealed "I've just been pooed on by a bird." He then showed his superstitious side, asking Croft and co: "Is that good luck?"After being advised it was, the player admitted it wasn't the first time his team had endured such a problem this week: "You know, my coach got that yesterday, as well, so it's good luck."What's the most ridiculous superstition you've heard of in sport?

Indeed, the clip brought some much needed fun publicity to the event, after players had items stolen at a nearby hotel this week.Unfortunately though, the incident didn't bring Draper the luck he needed, losing the first-set in a tie-break.

The second also reached 6-6, but this time it was the youngster who prevailed to level the match.However, the deciding set went the way of Cressy, 25, who won it 6-3.
