Brit who survived shark attack cracks joke minutes after having foot bitten off

For Brit backpackers Alistair Raddon and Danny Maggs snorkelling in Australia's Great Barrier Reef was a dream come true. The two men had spent the day swimming around the stunning coral reef when they became the victims of a horrific shark attack.

The two men had jumped off a tourist boat in the Whitsundays in November when they became the prey of the terrifying beast from the deep.

As the water turned red with their blood, other tourists on the boat managed to haul Alistair, 28, from Southampton, and 22-year-old Danny, from Plymouth back on board.
