Having been nominated for three awards at the ceremony - Artist of the Year, Rock/Alternative Act, and Mastercard Album of the Year - plus winning 2019's Rising Star award, and also nominated in 2020, this will be Sam's first performance on the main show.  “It's beyond a dream to be performing at the BRIT Awards this year" Sam commented, "me and the band are so excited to get up on that stage, it's going to be mega!!” Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat and Dave have been announced as performers at this year's BRIT Awards 2022.

Also taking to the stage for the UK's biggest night of music will be Liam Gallagher, Little Simz and Rising Star 2022 winner Holly Humberstone.

The night will be Doja's stage debut at the BRITs, where she's garnered two nominations in this year's ceremony. This will be Ed's fourth and Dave's second, since his monumental performance of Black at the awards in 2020.

Earlier this week, it was announced that four brand new categories at the BRITs will be voted for via TikTok, it will be the first time the social platform has powered a UK awards show.
