Some of the biggest and best businesses Manchester has to offer have been celebrated at this year's MEN Business Awards. Winners of 14 categories were announced at the glittering ceremony staged at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in the city centre.
The annual event saw business leaders from across Greater Manchester gather to celebrate the success of some of the city's most exciting companies. The ceremony itself was hosted by Olympic sprinter Iwan Thomas MBE. The Welsh 400m specialist represented both Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Olympic Games, the World Championships, the European Cup and the IAAF World Cup.
For Wales, he competed at the Commonwealth Games, winning a gold medal in 1998. The awards were supported by the Manchester Evening News and Reach's business news site BusinessLive.
