Brian May, 74, has made the decision to quit living in London, as he has recently found the capital to be too “brutal” to bear.The musician explained that although the recent flash floods that hit the home he shares with wife Anita Dobson, 72, were the “catalyst” for them to leave their lives in London behind, they had been struggling for “a long time” prior to the destruction.It comes after Brian and Anita returned home to find their Kensington property covered in sludge during a period of heavy rainfall that hit the city on July 12.Brian was heartbroken to discover the lower floor of his home had been ruined, with floods damaging the couple’s carpets, rugs, and his childhood photo albums.Anita’s keepsakes were also destroyed by water.
