Brendan Rodgers has called for VAR to be SCRAPPED as the Celtic boss is left unhappy with the current state of the tech's usage.The Irishman has vented his frustration just days after expressing his concern that football was turning into something similar to a 'computer game' following a 6-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid.
His comments came after Daizen Maeda had a yellow card turned into a red for a challenge on Mario Hermoso, which some have cast doubt over whether or not it warranted a dismissal.
The attacker is now out of action for six weeks after an injury picked up in the incident.Speaking ahead of a return to Premiership action against Aberdeen, the Celtic boss says he'd scrap VAR in its current format.
Rodgers said: “If you ask me right now - I would get rid of it. Absolutely. But there's money been invested in it for the greater good of the game that is supposed to make it better."You have to give it every chance.
