Cameron Carter-Vickers reckons VAR is good for the game but that referees need to apply it better. It comes after Daizen Maeda's red card sparked controversy during Celtic's 6-0 hammering at the hands of Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
The Hoops woes were compounded when the Japanese was sent off following an initial red card after a tackle with Mario Hermoso but VAR deemed it worthy of an ordering off, with Brendan Rodgers forced to confirm the news his winger had also been injured in the challenge.
The Irishman then called in no uncertain terms for the technology to be binned, but admits it has been heavily invested in.Carter-Vickers reckons VAR in it's intended format is good for the Scottish Premiership but that the referees operating the technology must be better at applying it.
The 25-year-old does, however, concede that in football it doesn't always go your way but he won't sit and complain about it.
