Brendan Rodgers has ruled out losing Matt O'Riley before the transfer deadline.Celtic booted out a £10million bid from Leeds United this week, hot on the heels of a failed attempt by Bologna to try to tempt them into selling the Danish Under 21 international.

The Parkhead boss has been impressed by O'Riley since taking over again and wants him around as he continues to build on Ange Postecoglou's success last season.Sead Haksabanovic is likely to leave while one or two others could be heading for the exit.

But O'Riley certainly won’t be one of them. "When you have good players, there's always going to be interest," said Rodgers. "But definitely Matt is a player I want to have here and part of what I'm doing.
