Brendan Rodgers brushed off an injury scare for Celtic 's star man Kyogo ahead of a Champions League clash with Feyenoord. The Hoops boss preferred to talk up his side's 3-0 win over Dundee despite confirming the Japanese international had his shoulder popped back into place during a first half moment of concern which saw the striker disappear up the tunnel for treatment.
As the champions moved two points clear at the Premiership summit, Rodgers was at pains not to overelaborate on the issue with a European curtain raiser in Holland on the horizon and bristled slightly when asked about Kyogo's shoulder.He said: ""It was just his shoulder, he just needed to get some work off the pitch and quickly the medical team sorted it out.
He came back in and was fine." Asked if it was popped back in Rodgers said: "Yes" and his reply as to whether the striker could be a doubt for Tuesday's clash at the De Kuip his reply was a sharp, "No" Rodgers was pleased with a resounding win over the Taysiders which saw David Turnbull net a penalty followed by Kyogo and Matt O'Riley strikes ease them to victory with all goals scored in the space of 17 second half minutes.
