Chuffed Brendan Rodgers has talked up his Celtic side after they pasted Portimonense 4-1 in their final friendly before their trip to Japan.
The Parkhead boss was seriously impressed by both the returning international stars and the selection of academy graduates who seized their chance – most notably with Ben Summers finding the net after earning a start against the Portuguese top flight side in sweltering heat.
Reo Hatate and Liel Abada had the Premiership champions 2-0 up before the hosts pulled one back. Summers netted before the interval and Oh got in on the act during the second half to seal a convincing win before they head to Asia.
Speaking to Celtic TV, Rodgers said: "It was excellent, we have had a fantastic week so to finish off with a decent performance and a good result.
