BREAKING: Woman at centre of Wigan murder investigation is named
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe woman at the centre of a murder investigation in Wigan has been named as Caroline Gore. Ms Gore was tragically found dead inside a flat in Douglas House, a high-rise on Millbank in Scholes, on Monday night (October 30).
Police were initially called over 'concerns for her welfare'. Detectives launched a murder probe and a 56-year-old man was arrested.
Cops said yesterday that he remained in custody for questioning. A file relating to Ms Gore's death has been received by Manchester West (Bolton) Coroners' Court, a spokesperson confirmed.
A formal inquest into her death will open at a later date.
