The UK's first cases of the Brazil variant of coronavirus have been detected, with up to six people infected with the mutant strain.

An urgent search was launched to find one of the six as officials have no idea who they are or where they live. That's because that person didn't fill in their test registration card.

The P.1 variant is one of four variants of concern, and measures were brought in to prevent it from being brought into the country.
