Brand New have announced details of their first US tour in seven years, and participating venues have disabled comments on social media.The news of a new tour will see the band play 24 shows across the US later this year, and comes just days after they played their first public reunion show since 2017.News of the return came in March, when members launched their own website and told followers they would be playing three shows at the end of the month.

Three gigs were held in Texas, and they marked the first since a secret and intimate reunion show in December last year.It also arrived following the band being on a hiatus after frontman Jesse Lacey was accused of sexual misconduct involving a minor in 2017.

The news led to their UK tour at the time being cancelled and their music was removed from Spotify ‘Wrapped’ lists after two more women came forward with additional allegations.A post shared by Brand New (@brandnewrock)Now, the band have announced details of a full tour taking place in the US later this year.

The new run of shows kicks off at the end of next month with opening nights at the WAMI Theater in Seattle and the Theater Of The Clouds venue in Portland on May 30 and 31 respectively.From there, 20 shows are planned for the following month, including stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Cleveland, Newark, Columbus and more, before the tour ends with two shows in July.
