The four victims of a horrifying house fire have been named, including a 29-year-old mum and her three children. The 29-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene has been named by West Yorkshire Police as Bryonie Gawith.
The children have been named as nine-year-old Denisty Birtle, five-year-old Oscar Birtle, and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle. "All three children were taken to hospital where, sadly, all three died from their injuries," West Yorkshire Police have said at the press conference held at the scene in Westbury Road, Bradford, moments ago this afternoon (August 21). A 39-year-pld man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He was critically injured in the incident and is currently in hospital, and detectives have described it as a 'domestic-related' incident.
The tragedy has shaken neighbours in Westbury Road, Bradford, who reported hearing “screams” coming from the home as five fire engines and a dozen ambulances arrived just at the scene after 2am.
