Brad Pitt has reportedly gotten the go ahead to race in the upcoming British Grand Prix this summer.
According to multiple reports, the 59-year-old actor, who is starring in the F1 Apple movie with Damson Idris, will get behind the wheel of a racecar to compete against Lewis Hamilton in the first lap of the event. Keep reading to find out more… The Sun has reported that special permission to film the movie during the first lap has been granted for Brad, as he will race against Lewis, who is an executive producer on the movie.
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali recently spoke about the race footage that will happen during the event. “We’re going to start shooting in Silverstone very soon,” he shared, via SI. “It will be the first movie where they will be within the racing event.
It will be quite invasive in terms of production, but it will be another way of showing that F1 never stops.” Previously, Lewis hyped up the movie, saying that he has “such high hopes for it.
