The star has now updated fans that his mum left London's Queen Elizabeth hospital after a two-day stay and the Culture Club star confirmed that her health problems were not related to Covid-19.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly, via video call, on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning, clad in one of his trademark hats, Boy George - real name George O'Dowd - said his mum is back home and on the mend.
He told: "My mum is good is back home now she was in hospital for two days, its not coronavirus which was good." George added: "She is 82."
