Speaking to The Mirror's Mark Jefferies, his mum said: "George and I are very close and I’m so very proud of him.Joan Collins, 89, almost unrecognisable in huge hair transformation"He is always there for me, so his reaction wasn’t a surprise, and I am waiting to hug him when he gets home."In April 2020, the Culture Club star asked his fans to "pray" for his mum who was battling a "heart or lung problem" at the time.
