A five-year-old boy who 'loved hugs' and was 'cute and clever' drowned in a swimming pool on the first day of a family holiday.
The family of Robin Caliskal have paid touching tribute to him following the tragedy at a holiday park in Newquay, Cornwall.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and said officers were working with representatives of the local council.
Paramedics rushed to the Atlantic Reach holiday park in Newquay on Monday. Robin, along with his mum and dad, Ferzane and Cemal Caliskal, and their six-month-old baby, Renas, had arrived at the resort that afternoon. The family, who live in the Greenbank area of Plymouth, had set up their tent ready to camp for the week and then headed straight for the pool, reports Plymouth Live.
