A three-year-old boy has died after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a gun he found in a drawer. Tragic James Kenneth Lindquester found the loaded handgun at a home in Aloha, Oregon, on Friday night, and pulled the trigger.
Panicked family members called 911, but medics were unable to save his life. The little boy died two hours later, investigators said.
Washington County Deputy, Shannon Wilde told KATU2 : "I think if you ask any first responder, the death of a child is the absolute worst call that we go to." And she continued: "We see a lot of horrible things but seeing a child in that situation is the worst." At this stage no charges have been made following James' death.
