A boy aged 16 from Middleton - and a 35-year-old man from the Ancoats area of Manchester - have been arrested by detectives investigating a shooting in Lancashire, police have revealed.
Officers from Lancashire Police, supported by Greater Manchester Police, swooped to execute warrants at addresses in Manchester at dawn today - Thursday.
Both the man and boy were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and remained in custody today, Lancashire Police said. They haven't been named.
