A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a 14-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed in Levenshulme on Monday (February 26).
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, attended the scene on Stovell Avenue at around 8pm to reports of a boy being injured in a stabbing.
A cordon was put in place overnight and throughout Tuesday amid police investigations. Two people were arrested, a teenage boy and a 41-year-old woman, and both were questioned by detectives in connection with the alleged attack. He will appear at Manchester Youth Magistrates' Court on Thursday (February 29). The 41-year-old woman who was arrested has since been released on bail.
