A man accused of murdering a woman whose body has never been found has been appeared in court. Alisha Apostoloff-Boyarin, 24, from Ashton-under-Lyne, disappeared more than two years ago.
David Alex Taylor, 61, from Durham, has been charged with murder, and appeared at Manchester Crown Court this morning by video link.
He was not asked to enter a plea, and the case was adjourned until May. Alisha was last seen in January 2022 in a gold Volkswagen Passat, being driven through Derbyshire.
On January 14 that year, Alisha was seen travelling in the car heading north.
