The 14-year-old at the centre of the Harpurhey murder investigation has been named locally as Nathaniel Shani. Tributes have poured in for the teenager after he was stabbed during an altercation in the Manchester neighbourhood on Friday evening (September 15).
Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene of the tragedy, off Tavistock Square. A 14-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder was being questioned by murder squad detectives this afternoon (Saturday).
The tight-knit Harpurhey community has been left reeling in the wake of Nathaniel's death. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family.
