A property tycoon "deliberately" coughed in a disabled employee's face during the coronavirus pandemic. An employment judge condemned the "gross behaviour" of Kevin Davies as the former staff member was awarded a payout of more than £26,000.

David Kevin Lewis Davies - better known as Kevin Davies - owns Cawdor Cars, a dealership with six branches across Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire in Wales.

The business, which is based in Newcastle Emlyn, also operates a property rental section called Datblygau Davies Developments, where the employee worked as a property manager.

Kevin Davies' property portfolio includes upmarket Welsh hotels and various housing developments. The ex-employee, who did not wish to be named, took Cawdor Cars and Mr Davies, 62, to a tribunal which found she had suffered discrimination related to her disability as well as constructive unfair dismissal.
