A stop and search order has been implemented across Southport after violent disorder erupted following the fatal stabbings earlier this week.
Disorder broke out on the streets of the seaside town on Tuesday night (July 30), close to the scene of the stabbing at a children's dance event on Monday.
Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Aguiar, aged nine were named as the three children killed in the knife attack. Merseyside Police have confirmed the Section 60 order has been introduced across Southport, running until 6pm on Friday (August 2).
