A growing group of Tory MPs are calling on Boris Johnson to announce the re-opening of schools in England. A string of MPs are said to have signed up to a campaign group who want the government to either open schools immediately or publish more findings on the shutdown.
It comes after Nicola Sturgeon announced yesterday that she wanted a "phased and gradual return" to school for some pupils from February 22 in Scotland.
