Body found in search for missing TV doctor Michael Mosley on Greek island
ok.co.ukA body has been discovered in a rocky area beside Agia Marina during the search for TV doctor and columnist Michael Mosley, who went missing while on holiday on the Greek island of Symi earlier this week.
Part of the search and rescue mission turned to a network of caves known locally as The Abyss, The Sun reports and it’s reported that a body was found nearby on Sunday morning.
However there has been no formal identification of the remains.The 67 year old, who is known for appearances on This Morning and The One Show, vanished on Wednesday, 5 June while on holiday on the Greek island of Symi after a walk from St Nicholas Beach to Pedi.
After he was reported missing, a search operation began close to where Michael was last spotted.The TV doctor was last seen by friends at the Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday at 1:30pm local time and was reported missing by his wife Dr Clare Bailey at 7:30pm.
