The failure to find Dr Michael Mosley sooner after he went missing on the Greek island of Symi has been branded 'absurd' by one police source.
The body of the 67-year-old TV personality was discovered on Sunday morning in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach, just 100 yards from the safety of a restaurant and a mere 150 yards from an area previously searched by his four adult children, the Mirror reports.
Chilling CCTV footage appeared to show him falling over close to where his body was found. Dr Mosley appeared to be making his way down a rocky slope close to a fence before he fell out of view.
