The police watchdog is continuing to investigate a crash in Trafford in which a young woman died, an inquest hearing has been told.
Xena Georgiou, 20, was driving a BMW that crashed when she 'lost control' and it collided with a parked car in Sale, Trafford, following a short police pursuit on Sunday, December 3.
She was rushed to the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) but died later that day. An investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is now underway. Senior Coroner Mutch said the IOPC's investigation into the incident was ongoing. She said: "Greater Manchester Police (GMP) went to an incident.
